Haemophilia Academy is a 4.5-day course, with 3.5 days of interactive tuition on a range of clinical and nonclinical topics, coupled with a 1-day clinic visit.
Participants will be asked to arrive in Edinburgh the evening prior to the meeting start for a networking welcome dinner.
Educational Programme
Taking into account the latest thinking in adult learning, the Faculty have developed a unique and engaging training programme, which addresses both clinical and nonclinical needs.
Every session has clearly defined learning objectives and is delivered in a variety of formats to cater for a range of learning styles:

Keynote lectures
(lecture followed by questions)

Interactive plenaries
(lecture with keypad questions, interactive discussions and group work)

Group workshops
(small breakout groups for practical exercises and debate, illustrated by case examples)

Clinic visit
