I am currently in the final year of my training and pursuing my transfusion medicine fellowship. I am a Pediatrician by training and during my pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at Johns Hopkins, through the Hemophilia Treatment Center, I have been integrally involved in direct patient care in outpatient and inpatient setting and learnt the finer details of management of patients with Hemophilia A and B.
I will be merging my clinical and research interests in disorder of coagulation and thrombosis from the blood bank perspective and have an active role to play in factor dispensing for patients with Hemophilia A and B, monitoring of patients with factor inhibitors in direct coordination with the adult as well as pediatric Hematology services. I plan on being involved with various research projects to continue my prior research with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders.
Fun fact: I love cooking (especially authentic Indian cuisines), being outdoors and singing (bathroom singing as well as a little more structured!).
