Najam Ahmed Awan is a Pakistani Paediatric Haematologist Oncologist working in Tawam Hospital, Al Ain, UAE. He completed MBBS (1998) from University of Punjab, DCH (2000–2001) from Quaid-i-Azam University, Pakistan, and MRCPCH (2008) from Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK. He provides specialized care for children <15 years of age with benign and malignant haematology diseases. He has special interest in patients with Haemophilia and other bleeding disorders who are treated at Tawam Hospital, which is the largest treatment and referral Center of Paediatric Haemophilia at UAE. He is actively involved in UAE Haemophilia Society, UAE, and organizing World Haemophilia day every year at Tawam Hospital.
