My name is Kaisa Vepsäläinen and I come from Finland. In 2002, I graduated from the University of Kuopio, Finland. Since 2010 I’ve been a Specialist in Paediatrics, and since 2013 a Specialist in Paediatric Haematology and Oncology. My current position is in the Unit of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology, Kuopio University Hospital, which serve also as a haemophilia treatment centre for adults and kids. In Finland, there are about 300 patients with severe haemophilia, and all these patients are treated and followed-up in five University Hospitals.
