Professor Christopher A Ludlam

Professor Christopher A. Ludlam

Christopher Ludlam is emeritus Professor of Haematology and Coagulation Medicine at the University of Edinburgh and former Director of the Haemophilia and Thrombosis Centre at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, UK. We are delighted that Professor Ludlam will be continuing his role as Chairman of the Haemophilia Academy in 2015.

Dr Victor Blanchette

Dr Victor Blanchette

Victor Blanchette is Medical Director of the Paediatric Thrombosis and Haemostasis Programme in the Division of Haematology/Oncology at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto; Medical Director of the SickKids-Caribbean Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Initiative (SCI); and Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Toronto, Canada, where he is a Senior Associate Scientist in the Research Institute and a Clinician Investigator in the Department of Paediatrics.

Dr Roseline d'Oiron

Dr Roseline d'Oiron

Roseline d'Oiron is currently a Clinical Investigator at the Reference Centre for Haemophilia and Other Congenital Rare Bleeding Disorders, Congenital Platelet Disorders and von Willebrand Disease at Bicêtre Hospital AP-HP - Paris XI University, Le Kremlin - Bicêtre, France. She is also responsible for specialist training for the master's degree in haematology at Paris VII University.

Dr Keith Hoots

Dr Keith Hoots

Keith Hoots is Director for Blood Diseases at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), USA, and former Professor of Pediatrics and Division Head of Pediatric Hematology; Section Head of Pediatric Hematology, UT M.D. Anderson Cancer Center; and Medical Director, Gulf States Hemophilia and Thrombophilia Treatment Center. Dr Hoots also directed the Fellowship Program at M.D. Anderson.

Dr David Lillicrap

Professor David Lillicrap

David Lillicrap is a Professor in the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine at Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada. Since 2000, he has been the recipient of a Canada Research Chair in Molecular Hemostasis. In 2013, he was elected to the Fellowship of the Royal Society of Canada.

Professor Claude Négrier

Professor Claude Négrier

Claude Négrier is head of the Haematology Department at Edouard Herriot University Hospital in Lyon, France and Director of the Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre at this institution. He is also Professor of Haematology at the Lyon School of Medicine and Adjunct Professor in the Division of Hematology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, USA.

Johannes Oldenburg is Director of the Institute of Experimental Haematology and Transfusion Medicine and the Haemophilia Centre at the University Clinic in Bonn, Germany.

Professor Jørgen Ingerslev

Professor Jørgen Ingerslev (Faculty member 2008–2010)

Jørgen Ingerslev is now retired, having formerly been Professor in Haemostasis and Thrombosis at Aarhus University, Denmark, and a Haemophilia Centre Director at the National Haemophilia Center of Western Denmark.
